ONLINE THERAPY

What is Online Therapy?
This form of therapy is a well established alternative to face-to-face therapy.   It is obviously beneficial to have face-to-face contact with your therapist, but in many situations that is impossible.   This form of therapy allows the therapist to aid you while you’re in the comfort of your own home or office space.   It gives you the privacy you desire at an affordable price.   An individual should not be restricted in their health care choices.   It is now possible to have online therapy that will give you the full audio-video virtual experience that is close to having a face-to-face session.

Are you one of the following?
·         Seeing a therapist for the first time causes you deep anxiety and embarrassment.
·         You have difficulties discussing your issues to a therapist face-to-face.
·         There is a social stigma you feel about seeing a therapist that is holding you back.
·         You’re a busy professional and struggle with finding the time to seek out therapeutic services.
·         You struggle with a chronic / physical disability or illness that impedes you from attending therapy.,
·         Your geographically or linguistically isolated.
·         It is difficult for you to afford therapy due to its high cost.

What equipment do I need?
The best software to ensure utmost confidentiality while having your Online Therapy session is Skype.   Skype is cost free, high quality, and is quick and easy to download and install.   You need a computer with internet access, a headset and a webcam. Skype is a free video conferencing program that allows you to see and hear each other.   (download – www.skype.com).

How do I make an appointment?
You do so by contacting us through email or phone.   Please briefly describe your concerns or issues your experiencing and the therapist will be in touch with you to arrange an appropriate time for you to meet online.   At your appointed time, you will begin your session. Further details will be provided by the therapist prior to your sessions beginning.

Session payments are made directly through PAYPAL.

For further information on this new therapeutic service
please contact our office by phone or email.   We look forward to hearing from you.

Even in the midst of the darkest days of depression, Keith knew he wanted a public voice to discuss mental health issues. But he knows many people who could not do so. As well, most people see stigma, or feel it, by the treatment they receive from others. They can be shunned or even ignored. Keith has had that happen to a great extent.
